Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Empire Financial Corporation (Dallas); Senior Vice President, Finance for Central Bank/First Commerce Bank (New Orleans); and, Senior Vice President, Treasurer for Bluebonnet Savings Bank (Dallas). He also served as Senior Treasury Director for Reading & Bates Corporation (Tulsa), a global leader in energy services - offshore and domestic oil drilling, water resource management, coal mining and refining and pipeline construction.

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brian is a sought-after speaker on critical economic, interest rate and financial industry issues and a frequent contributor to many economic and finance-related publications and institutes.
